BlinkJar Media Named to LSU 100 for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Dan Davidson • September 11, 2020

BlinkJar Media has been recognized by the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University as one of the 100 fastest growing, Tiger-owned or Tiger-led businesses in the world for 2020. This is the fourth consecutive year that BlinkJar has earned this honor. The LSU 100 recognizes and celebrates the success of LSU graduates and their impact on the local, regional, and national economy. BlinkJar was initially honored in 2017, its first year of eligibility for the award, and has qualified every year since.

What is the LSU 100?

Postlethwaite & Netterville confidentially ranks companies based on their compounded annual growth rate. As stated on the LSU 100 website, companies must meet all four of the following criteria for consideration:

  1. The company must have been in business for five years or more as of December 31, 2019.
  2. The company’s revenues must have been $100,000 or more in each of the calendar years from 2017 – 2019.
  3. The company must be LSU Tiger-led or Tiger-owned for the program’s time frame of January 1, 2017, thru December 31, 2019.
  4. The company and its Tiger leaders and/or founders must act with high integrity and operate in a manner consistent with the values and image of LSU.

CEO and founder of BlinkJar Media, Jared Broussard, attributes the success of the company to his team and the agency’s clients. “Our team unselfishly infuses energy and fresh perspectives into the agency daily. Each team member has contributed to BlinkJar's success”, says Broussard.

Broussard also stressed the importance of the agency’s clients saying, “The strength of our agency is directly rooted in our client relationships. Building deep and impactful relationships with our clients has fueled our growth over the past eight years and will continue to be the lifeline of the agency. Processes, platforms, and technology continue to change, but our agency's success will always be contingent upon the happiness and success of our clients.”

This year’s LSU 100 event will take place on November 13, 2020 with a Celebration Under the Stars at Houmas House from 5:30pm to 10 pm.

Why Your New Website Isn’t Showing Up in Google Yet
By Rikki Broussard October 22, 2025
Hey everyone, it’s Rikki here! I like to write blogs based on real questions from our clients. Recently, we launched two brand-new websites on fresh domains. Everything about the design, development, and launch went smoothly, but once the sites were live, both clients asked the same question: “Why can’t I find my site on Google yet? Launching a new website is exciting. After weeks (sometimes months) of planning and building, the site is finally live. Naturally, the next step is to open Google, type in one of your main keywords, and expect to see your business right at the top. But here’s the reality: search engines don’t work like flipping a light switch. It’s completely normal (although frustrating) for brand-new websites to take time before appearing in Google search results . How Google Finds and Ranks Websites When your new site goes live, Google has to: Crawl – Send its “bots” to scan and read the site. Index – Store those pages in Google’s database. Rank – Decide where your site belongs in the search results compared to competitors. Submitting a sitemap and setting up Google Search Console helps Google know your site exists. But discovery doesn’t mean instant visibility; it just means the process has started.
