Since graduating from the Manship School of Mass Communication at LSU in 2006, and working in television advertising, Dan began to see the transition that consumers were making in their buying patterns and decisions. With more and more media options available, marketing messages were getting lost in the clutter. At the same time, he realized this could be a great opportunity for advertisers and consumers alike. If only there was a way to harness the power of social media and new, emerging platforms to provide buyers with what they want and need; as well as a way for businesses to share their brand to an interested audience. Enter BlinkJar Media and inbound marketing.
During his time at WAFB as a marketing intern, media research director, and account executive, Dan worked closely on web based campaigns and promotions. This was clearly the direction advertising and marketing was headed. The ability to couple the reach and power of traditional media with the precision of inbound marketing is what drew Dan to join the BlinkJar Media team. Before joining BlinkJar, Dan worked for JP Morgan Chase. In 2012, he was named a National Achiever, honoring the top 2% of performers across the United States.
Dan has been a key ingredient to the success of BlinkJar Media. Since early 2013, Dan has been an integral part of implementing many parts of the inbound marketing strategy for the agency's clients. Dan has embraced the creative outlets and exposure to new trends and ideas since joining BlinkJar. Having the opportunity to help clients grow their business on a local and national level, as well as brainstorming with the team has made BlinkJar a perfect fit for Dan.
When he’s not blogging, Dan can be found spending time with his wife, Ashley and sons, Chase and Cade. If he’s not there, he’s playing golf or watching the Tigers & Saints.
